Laughter Yoga was developed in 1995, by an Indian Medical Doctor, Dr Kataria.

It was whilst he was researching ‘Laughter -The Best Medicine’ that he realised that the body cannot tell the difference between real laughter and fake laughter.   They both produced the same benefits.
